Second Attack Against Juniper PD Leaves Sergeant Wounded

It is no secret that the proud city of Juniper, Illinois has experienced an onslaught of increased criminal activity. Whereas illegal activity is present throughout our good city, The Red Light District seems to be the focal point of it all.

It was one week ago today that newly appointed Juniper Police Sgt. Alexandria Stone was viciously attacked during a routine patrol. Sgt. Stone was on her way out of The Red Room when she was assaulted by three people, two males and one female.

The suspects remain unidentified to the general public, but there is an active investigation underway to hopefully bring these terrible criminals to justice after their unspeakable act.

Juniper Police Department believes that the ambush injuring Sgt. Stone, may be linked to another attack at The Cactus Motel; leaving yet another officer severely wounded.

There was a message left with Sgt. Stone as she lay unconscious, warning the Juniper Police Department to stay out of The Red Light District. It is believed that this indicates that both attacks, as well as the dismembered body dangling from the borders of The Red Light District just might be the work of a gang trying to lay claim to the area.

The Juniper Times would like to offer our sincerest condolences to the amazing officers of JPD, and a speedy recovery to those officers falling victim to these horrendous attacks.

If you or anyone that you know has information that might aid the Juniper Police Department in their investigation, please contact the department immediately.

If you know something, say something.
